One of the top prospects in the class of 2019, Nayquan Wright showed up at the event carrying offers from Miami, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Alabama, Notre Dame and others.

On Saturday, Wright says he’s taking his recruitment slowly and hasn’t been in much recent contact with any FBS coach. He did, however say that Miami has tasked his high school teammate and current UM commit Camron Davis with the task of recruiting him for the Hurricanes. Wright has set no dates for visits but says he intends to tour Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee.

Florida State commit eyes Oregon and NC State visits

Florida State commit Kayode Oladele arrived at Saturday’s combine mostly to test himself in the 40-yard dash. He already held an invite to Sunday’s 3 Stripe Camp but wanted to compete at the combine for the sake of competing. On Saturday, Oladele said he will attend Florida State’s spring game. He also plans to visit Oregon and NC State this offseason.

Walton runs blistering 40-yard dash time

Jamal Walton was one of the fastest players at the event and ran a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash on Saturday. Walton is known as a track star and lists a long list of track offers. He’s probably best known for breaking Usain Bolt’s U17 record in the 400. Walton has decent length to go along with his blazing speed and will be one to watch at Sunday’s camp.

Ogle earns 3 Stripe Camp invite

Class of 2018 offensive lineman Parker Ogle earned his invitation to Sunday’s 3 Stripe Camp with an impressive performance, including a 31-inch vertical leap. Ogle, who is 6-foot-3, 280 pounds has received recruiting interest from Ohio State, Pittsburgh and several others but is still waiting on his first offer. One of his older brothers, Alex, was a quarterback at Boise State who signed in 2014 and his other older brother Braeden is a top prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. The youngest Ogle will look to make a name for himself during the camp on Sunday.

More New Speed Combine standouts

Other combine attendees that were invited back for the camp were Jesse Smith, Parker Ogle, Aaron Morgan, Terrence Horne, Zachary Stark, Deajau McDougle, Ja'Markis Weston and Jejuan Campbell.
