There have been rumors for a while that Florida State was on the verge of flipping Rivals100 defensive back Hamsah Nasirildeen from South Carolina. On Sunday night the Concord, N.C. native announced he would be playing his college football in Tallahassee instead of Columbia.

Nasirildeen has been slowly moving up the rankings and finished inside the Rivals100. He originally committed to South Carolina in August but took an official visit to Florida State in October. He took a few more visits to South Carolina but ultimately chose to be a Seminole. Nasirildeen's area recruiter was Florida State running backs coach Jay Graham, a Concord native.
